Our client, named one of the fastest-growing companies in its industry and awarded recent recognition for their commitment to employees and culture, is in search of a Human Resources Business Partner. The HR Business Partner acts as a driving force behind our client’s company culture, leading initiatives to attract, nurture, and retain exceptional talent. This role supports various HR functions and works closely with HR leadership to advance and reinforce our client’s commitment to prioritizing employees.
This person will be the sole HR leader at the local level, taking full ownership of employee relations and employee engagement initiatives. This position offers competitive pay, bonus, 100% paid employee health insurance, PTO, parental leave, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity, aligning daily tasks with broader organizational goals, programs, and systems.
- Actively listen and communicate effectively by engaging with employees, asking thoughtful questions, and providing solutions that align with our client’s core values and goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations by regularly monitoring applicable laws.
- Take a leadership role in driving associate engagement initiatives, and maintaining a visible presence on the floor and in break areas.
- Lead key activities such as new hire orientation, employee development, performance reviews, and associate relations investigations, while fostering growth and feedback to help employees reach their full potential.
- Empower and prepare leadership teams with training and resources to effectively manage and guide their teams.
- Actively participate in our client’s corporate responsibility initiatives, including recycling programs, social advocacy, and volunteering opportunities.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage deadlines, ensuring success in a fast-paced work environment.
- Supervise one administrative team member and manage their day-to-day responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Candidates should have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in an HR capacity, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Candidate must have proven experience fostering employee engagement and addressing employee relations issues.
- Strong analytical skills are necessary for identifying root causes of issues, developing strategies to address them, and ensuring the alignment of solutions with organizational goals.
- Skilled in communicating clear strategies and processes to diverse audiences at all levels.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with a high level of organization.
